Collection of your Personal Information
We collect both personally identifiable information and non-personal information from our users.
The personal information collected can include your name, phone number, email address, where you are located, other aspects of your vehicle, driving behavior and trips and office address.
Information about your computer hardware and software may be automatically collected by TrackM2M.com. This information can include: your IP address, browser type, domain names, access times and referring website addresses. This information is used for the operation of the service, to maintain quality of the service, to provide general statistics regarding use of the TrackM2M.com website, mobile solutions, and to enable TrackM2M.com to provide additional services in the future.

Collection of Location Data
The TrackM2M-VisTracks eLog/ELD app collects location data as per USA FMCSA/DOT and Transport Canada requirements. Approximate location (approximate distance and direction to nearest city or town)
will be acquired during certain app usage events and/or driving events including: manual change of duty status, automatic change of duty status, crossing state/provincial borders,
crossing border between USA and Canada, crossing border between USA and Mexico, periodic intervals during driving (typically once per hour) and any other events that may appear
on the hours of service log. This location data is personally identifiable in the sense that complete hours of service log reports include the driver(s) name, carrier name and
the log event list which shows approximate location for each event in the list. The hours of service log reports are made available to the driver(s) and carrier. The hours of service
log reports are made available to appropriate law enforcement authorities upon request as per FMCSA and Transport Canada guidelines and requirements. The hours of service log reports
are not sold or shared with any third parties unless specifically requested by the carrier named on the eLog/ELD account.
Security of your Personal Information
TrackM2M.com secures your personal information from unauthorized access, use or disclosure. When personal information is transmitted to other websites, it is protected through the use of encryption, such as the Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) protocol. We do not store credit card information. TrackM2M.com only use of cookies is for storing session management tokens for authentication validation.
TrackM2M.com uses Amazon Web Services (only via vistracks.com) to store some of your information (for example, your documents). You can find more information on Amazon’s data security from Amazon.
Data Retention/Deletion
As per USA FMCSA/DOT and Transport Canada requirements, data will be retained for the past 6 months. Data older than 6 months is permanently deleted.
Children Under Thirteen
TrackM2M.com does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under the age of thirteen. If you are under the age of thirteen, you must ask your parent or guardian for permission to use the TrackM2M.com website and mobile solutions.
